Office hours cancelled for Monday

Posted by James Lee on October 7, 2009

As I said in class today, I’ll be chairing a conference in San Diego on Monday and Tuesday, so I won’t be holding office hours next week.  If you want to meet with me before the homework is due, I am holding a special office hour on Friday from 2:30-3:30pm (right after class) in CSE 306.

There will be class on Monday. Dave Bacon will be teaching in my stead.

Prelim. slides & reading assignment

Posted by James Lee on September 30, 2009

I’ve just posted some preliminary slides.   This gives you some idea of what we’ll be covering, but the slides may change/shift significantly as we progress through the course.

The first reading assignment is Chapters 1 and 2 of the KT book.  Try to read over these before Monday.
